Horse riding is a dangerous sport and you participate at your own risk. Due care has been taken to maintain the facilities in a safe condition, but riders must observe the following rules and any additional instructions that may be given.

Yard Etiquette

Staff appreciate Please’s and Thank You’s
If you have a complaint, please contact a member of the LCH team via a private message
Only give advice or your opinion when it is asked for
Shouting of any kind is not polite
Clean up after yourself, your horse, your dog, your children, your entourage & if you see other mess clean that up too
If you use it, put it back
If you open it, close it
If you turn it on, turn it off
If you break it, inform one of the LCH team
If you’re not sure, ask one of the LCH team
When out riding on the fields ride on the headlands

Arena Etiquette

Always share the space, do not refuse others entry, or ask them to vacate so you can have it to yourself
If you get any equipment out or move anything, put it back when you’re finished
Do not leave any poles on the ground after using them
Pick up your poo & put it on our muck heap
Communicate with others who are riding. It is your responsibility to cause no disruption to the other riders, not their responsibility to tip toe around you.
You are lucky enough to have a choice of 2 arena’s and off-road hacking. Do not take the facilities for granted and ruin it for everyone else.

A message from Lottie:

Please remember you are keeping your horse at my home not ‘your yard’. The yard is run in a hands-off manner for a calm and relaxed environment. Please do not take advantage of the system; it’s for everyone to enjoy!

Thank You
